New Appointments
The Association is pleased to announce two new additions to the staff
David Green has been appointed as the Associations new Employment
Officer. He will be the first point of contact for members requiring
advice on employment issues, either as an employee or as a manager.
He will also be responsible for co-ordinating ACMs caseworker
service. Over the past ten years David has worked for the General Federation
of Trade Unions (GFTU) and the Knitwear and Textiles Union. He starts
work at the Leicester office in September.
Kavita Bachada has been appointed as a Legal Adviser and Caseworker.
She will be the Associations first full-time caseworker and will
also provide advice to members and staff on employment legislation.
Kavita has been employed by the CRE as an employment adviser in Leeds
and, more recently, by Liverpool Citizens Advice Bureau. Kavita will
join ACM at the beginning of October.

on issues of national concern
